Crux Design was tasked to build a custom application and system architecture to enable users to select their vehicle and choose from pre-designed seat options tailored to specific year, make, model, and trim, or create their own custom seat design. In addition, Crux Design was responsible for developing a new custom website to support the platform and enhance the overall user experience.
Strategy
Crux Design crafted a cohesive UI/UX experience that streamlined the customization process, allowing users to easily design their own seats with options such as leather types, stitching details, and a variety of custom material selections. Users can save their custom seat designs for later access, with the ability to have them emailed directly to the Katzkin sales team and easily shared with others.
Result
The website and custom leather seat designer has remained a long-standing success, delivering strong performance over the years and contributing significantly to Katzkin’s sustained growth and expansion.
